Great Speaker — Teaches How to Build Our Lives by Design
On Thursday November 29th 2012, 19 participants attended a presentation at the M-Bridge North York Location to hear Courtney Carroll speak on the topic of Building a Better You.
The presentation was well received by those in attendance as Mr. Carroll established an atmosphere of warmth and trust, allowing participants to openly discuss and share their thinking. One of the main themes of Mr. Carroll’s message is that success comes from following a few simple disciplines on a daily basis and failure comes by repeating errors in judgment on a daily basis.
He told the audience that the formula for success is there for everyone who wishes to adopt them into their lives. Those who have clear goals for what they want to achieve must stay committed to their dreams and understand that results come last. You might not see success in a week, a month or even a year, but the compound effect of following the right disciplines on a daily basis year after year will allow you to reap the rewards reserved for those who are disciplined and committed to their goals.
He taught us that goals provide direction for our lives and that when we are motivated to accomplish those goals we will find the energy need to get the job done. Mr. Carroll encouraged those in attendance to make financial fitness a priority because once money is no longer a consideration for how they live their lives they can bless others. This was an excellent presentation as it got everyone to
reflect on their lives. The discussions and open dialogue was refreshing as it allowed participants to share and learn from each other.
One participant said that Mr. Carroll’s presentation really made a difference to those in attendance on November 29th.
